Liturgical Ministries

Sacristans

Sacristans are responsible for setting the Altar and see to the care of the various candles located in the Sanctuary. They are also responsible for ensuring everything is in order for the celebration of Mass, allowing the Celebrant to concentrate solely on the liturgy.

Hospitality Ministers

Hospitality Ministers greet you at the door and assist you if needed to find a seat. They ensure that all lay ministers are present: Altar Servers, Lector, Ushers and bid you farewell after Mass with a bulletin. 

Lectors

Lectors nourish the Faith of the community by proclaiming the Word of God in an audible and intelligible manner to the community. 

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist (EXO) assist the celebrant in the distribution of Holy Communion. 

Altar Servers

Serving the Altar
Altar Servers assist the Celebrant with the celebration of Liturgies by performing various liturgical tasks that contribute to the worship setting.  To become an Altar Server, a child must have received First Holy Communion and their family must attend Mass regularly.
